dner from The Pursuit of Happiness.
"If you want something then go get it, don't let anyone hold you back!" Quote from chris gardner.
It means to take the liberty to go and get your temtation or dream. Then take your responcibly into achieve that temptation or dream. Chris Gardner had said that to his son, on outdoor basket ball court on top of a building in San Fransico.
Chris Gardner was a man who had a awful father, he lived in San Francisco in poverty. Chris still remembers those unforgettable moments. The pursuit of happiness was one of the unalienable rights of the Constitution of independences, but the question is where was the happiness for some people In life?
Chris begins life in San Francisco as a good father to his son and made sure everything was grand to his son. Chris was always working late trying to make profit from selling portable x-rays machines to doctors who needed them. He sold them to doctors for an expensive price. He struggled, docters stop buying them for they where too expensive. He tried to make money but the chance of making lots of profit lowered his likelihood. Chris was disheartened. He had no money and his wife left him because of how tried she was of being there for him. He had no place to go, no home.
Chris still continues life, knowing that he can get out of this misery. So he had one chance to be acknowledged to Dean winters stockbrokers. The only thing he had to be good with where talking to people and being good with numbers. He then was accepted as an interned for the job. More than 30 people where competing to get the job. Only one would be chosen to become a stockbroker being paid $400,000 a year. Chris had a new aspiration, to become a stockbroker for Dean winters and make lots of money for him and his son.
Chris was a determined intern to get the job and cared about achieving the job, one thing Chris Gardner also cared about was his son. Having not forgetting his son he was always delayed being a single parent and having taken care of his son. He had precious time to work at night, but that time was for taking care of his son. He had no place to stay. He slept in the subway restrooms, and in the homeless shelters. He woke up everyday thinking of where he was going to end up, what he was going to accomplish as an intern of the job.
Chris Gardner runs to his internship, he was then called to the head offices meeting room. They had deliberated. Chris Gardner standing there passionate, filled with words to make them end up in laughter. Two words came out of one of the men’s mouth. “Chris, you’ve got the job!”. Chris in shock of joy, jumped up to his feet and shook there hands. Chris cried tears of happiness. It was over he accomplished his goal. Him and his son lived in happiness.
Kim's 5ws on Abraham Lincoln (who, what, where, when & why)
"Lets bring end to slavery"
Abraham Licoln a man who wanted to end this chaos of not being united as one. and this quote to me was pretty powerful be cause it is only one sentence and out of all the speeches and all the conversation this was the sentence that was the most important. it was the cause for all the fighting and liberating.
